Located at 621 S Western Ave #208-A, Los Angeles, CA 90005, Sul & Beans operates as an asian dessert serving Los Angeles in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Hours at these spots often run into the evening, later than a typical coffee shop, and many stay open on weekends when demand is highest in Los Angeles. Seasonal and limited-time drink or dessert flavors are common, so a shop's current menu can differ from what is posted online; checking recent photos or calling ahead helps. Some locations in California are dessert-only with no seating, meant for takeout, while others have cafe-style seating for staying a while. Straws for bubble tea are typically wide to accommodate the toppings, and are provided automatically unless you ask for a regular one. Loyalty apps and stamp cards are common at chain locations, and ordering ahead through an app can shorten a wait considerably at busy locations during peak after-school and after-dinner hours.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 12β10:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Sul & Beans at (213) 385-5510; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is sulandbeans.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 907 reviews, which is a strong result for an asian dessert in Los Angeles and suggests consistent service.
Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Los Angeles follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Nothing could be better than shaved ice π§ in summer time. I also ordered a little toast. It is a little dry. But after manually added a little honey on top. It was greater. I did hesitant if I should order strawberry just because strawberry sounds boring. lol π however, I trusted my instinct and Uber Eats ratingβa high 97% result after 200 people ordered. It really did not disappoint me. It tastes so great with cheese blocks. Yum Yum π. Almost made me break my healthy routine. But I controlled myself hard to leave 2/3 for the next dayβs calorie because it is a big portion I received even though it is delivery. πππΉSo generous

I can go on and on about this shop because this is one of the most amazing shaved ice shops around. Located next to Somisomi in the Madang Shopping Center (2nd Floor) this shop can get extremely busy especially during the evenings but the line moves pretty quickly with plenty of seating inside and some outside as well. Love the various menu items as there's just so many options to choose from, but my wife recommended Mango Bingsoo as this is one of the most popular orders around. Portions are massive so sharing a bingsoo with one other person is perfect. Our bingsoo didn't take too long to come out (5 minutes) despite the shop being busy during a weekend afternoon. 1. Mango Bingsoo - High quality mangos that taste super fresh, nice decoration for a simplicity photo, and has a great balance between sweetness & juicy. Totally a tropical vibe when tasting the bingsoo. Overall, this is one of my favorite bingsoo shops around, super high quality bingsoo, fast wait times even when busy, and nice atmosphere for any type of outing including dates & hangouts. Plust points for parking validation that gives you free parking for 2 hours within the plaza. Will most definitely be back to try

Came in on a Friday night β pretty packed and no seats available. Apparently to order dine in you have to already have a seat. They didnβt have anyone managing tables so it was first come first serve. We didnβt want to wait for a table so we just ordered it to go. Unfortunately they told us you canβt change your mind and take a table if you order to go. Seemed a bit unfair but we just ended up getting a spot somewhere else in the plaza. The vibe of the upstairs area seemed cramped and busy especially from SomiSomi customers around as well. Took about 15 minutes. I was a bit disappointed that the to-go came in a different container. I will say though β absolutely delicious. We got the taro and split it. Definitely at least a two/maybe three person dessert. The fact this dessert was actually bomb saved the experience for me. Would probably try to come back again when itβs less busy.

After a lovely dinner down the street, we couldn't leave LA without some dessert in our stomachs. If I'm going to be forced to sit in traffic, I need something to help hold me over. The plaza was bustling and there was a line forming out the door over at Sul and Beans, which something to be expected on a Friday night. Luckily, the staff members were going through the line quickly. We ordered Injeolmi Bingsoo and some coffee to help fend off the food coma. For those who aren't familiar, Injeolmi is a finely ground powder with a nutty aroma, commonly used with chewy rice cakes made from dried soybeans. Its savory profile balances the sweetness of the condensed milk, creating the perfect "not so sweet" combination. The brightly lit open space was refreshing as K-town sometimes induces claustrophobia without forewarning. Sul and Beans is always the safe choice if you're looking to grab a table, some hot/cold dessert and be able to talk with your friends until your mouth falls off.

I'll be honest, this is the only place I've had bingsoo. But I can't imagine this isn't an incredible example of the dish. The menu has like two things. 15 flavors of Bingsoo, and 5 flavors of injeolmi toast. The texture of bingsoo is insane. I would love to see the machine that shaves the ice into these ridiculously tender and separate crystals. The toppings are delicious; condensed milk and red beans are the standard, but fruits, coffee, and chocolate options are available. They're huge, and it's so much fun to dig into this mountain of texture with others. There's a reason it's crowded every time we visit. It's delicious and it's so fun.
